U型玻璃是一种新型节能环保的墙体材料，上世纪90年代开始在我国逐步应用于各地建筑物的内、外围护结构，在2010年上海世博会展区的智利国家馆也得到了很好的展示。 

近年来U型玻璃得到国内外建筑设计师的关注和青睐，国家建筑标准院出版了安装应用的图集。不少建筑专业的专家也在报刊杂志上对U型玻璃进行介绍和论述，特别是中国工程院院士、上海同济大学原规划院院长、博士生导师戴复东就格外推崇。 

U型玻璃墙体的传热过程 　　

1. U型玻璃外表面与周围空气和外界环境间的换热，包括外表面与周围空气间的对流换热，以及外表面吸收、反射的太阳辐射热和外表面与空间的各长波辐射换热，玻璃间层的空气层可以减少辐射换热；

U-shaped glass is a new type of energy-saving and environment-friendly wall material. Since the 1990s, u-shaped glass has been gradually applied in the interior and exterior protection structures of buildings in China. It was also well displayed in the national pavilion of Chile in the exhibition area of Shanghai world expo in 2010.
